SIKA GASKET SILICONE GRAY RTV

Sikasil Gasket, gray, is a one-component, room-temperature cure (RTV) silicone gasket sealant designed for gasket bonding. Over time, or when exposed to heat, the adhesive will not change, such as hardening, shrinkage, or cracking. Application Areas: Transmission Oil Pan Oil Pan Camshaft Gear Cover Remove adhesive from the surface of the cover. Clean the surface with a non-staining solvent such as acetone and allow to dry. Cut the caulking nozzle to the desired size. Typically, a 3mm nozzle is used. Apply silicone gasket sealant to the inner surface and around the bolt holes. Apply the desired thickness to the cover while the adhesive is still dry. The adhesive will cure after 24 hours at 23°C/50°F and for longer than 24 hours at lower temperatures.
